Host Sound Training Events
Hosting trainings at an event selected for one of our micro-grants will provide direct cash savings on your sound bill. Even if your event doesn't get awarded a grant, providing opportunities for volunteers to learn can lighten the load and soften the bill for your event.
If you have an event coming up that you think would be a good fit for hosting a training, here are some steps you can take:
List your Event in our Calendar
Micro-grant applications can only be made, once an event is listed on our events calendar. If your event is already listed, it makes it much easier for your sound technician to apply to use your event for a training.
Of course, listing your event also puts it infront of the eyeballs of thousands of local music fans looking for something to do tonight, so it should be a no-brainer.
Ensure your Sound Tech Knows About This Program
If you have a sound technician or sound company you work with for your events, reach out to them, and let them know about this program. They can apply on your behalf.
If you don’t already have a sound provider in mind, check our sound technician directory, and full service sound providers directory to look for a technician or company that can provide your sound services, and apply on to host a training.
