Sound Training Reporting Guide

After completing a training, before getting your micro-grant we ask that you complete a brief report. This report is intended to be sort of a report card for the student, but also potentially something that can be used as a bit of a testimonial. We are working on a way to optionally allow students to include these reports on their profile.

Beflow are the details we'd like you to include where applicable:

  • Attentiveness + Care - Were they actively engaged in mixing, did they notice when things needed changing. Did they put in the extra work to ring monitors and tune things.

  • Problem Solving - How was their deductive process, could they think their way through a problem.

  • Attitude + Nerves - How did they handle stress, problems, pushy artists etc. How were their interactions with performers?

  • Technical Knowledge + Skills - Did they show a good understanding of the technical material, or were they just following instructions.

  • Mix + Musicality - How did their mix sound.
